El Dorado / Default Mode Network
Epic psytrance that conquers new ground.
“El Dorado” was a year-long fight in the studio. What came out is psytrance that doesn’t follow the rules. The Latin influence creates tension throughout the track, complexity where you’d expect simplicity. Still high-energy, but it moves differently than typical festival tracks.
The “Breaks” remix strips out some of the trance and finds the funk that was hiding underneath. Same source material, completely different perspective - less cosmic, more groove-focused. That bassline is on a mission!
“Default Mode Network” holds down the B-side with its own thing entirely. This one explores that space between conscious control and letting the patterns take over - deep, progressive breaks that evolve rather than just repeat. The grooves here have a way of getting under your skin.
The whole package works as a set. El Dorado was always about exploration, but not the kind where you get lost - the kind where you find something worth keeping.
Available everywhere you stream, but the Bandcamp player gives you the complete picture at the best price.
