Privacy

Our privacy policy is simple:  Your Personally Identifiable Information(PII) will never be used for any nefarious purposes.  In fact, during registration no PII is collected or required.  Cookies are used to track session activity(logging in, logging out), but does not collect data about you.

If you have specific questions about the privacy policy please contact us.

Copyright

All written content, audio, photographs and videos posted on this site are copyright 2008-2010 randombeats.com/Karl Dreher except where explicitly stated otherwise.  Comments posted on this site are the property of their posters.

All the audio content on randombeats.com is free to listen to and download. However, randombeats.com/Karl Dreher maintains ownership and copyright of all of the original work on this website(i.e. random beats, Karl D original material).  “random beats” and music by Karl D are NOT royalty free, public domain or published with an “open” license.

If you’re interested in licensing any of the original tracks for use in your project please contact us.  Licensing agreements will be handled on a case by case basis.  Obtaining a license to use any of the music may be as simple as asking politely, and describing the project.

It is preferred that you link to the website or individual posts directly rather than uploading on to your own website, but distribution of any of the work for end-user listening is generally OK as long as credit is given to the author(Karl D), and as long as it does not conflict with the license stipulated above.

Although not technically licensed under Creative Commons, this license is identical to a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 license.

Use of Other Artists’ Works

On occasion, DJ mixes containing other artists’ work and remixes of songs by other artists will be posted.  These DJ mixes and remixes are posted on a “fair use” policy, based on 1.  the nonprofit/educational nature of the use of the original work, and 2.  the exremely minimal financial impact on sales of the original product it is percieved the remixed tracks will have.  If nothing else, the hope is to boost sales and increase awareness of the original product by exposing the randombeats.com user base to the material.

If you believe that a remix posted is in violation of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act of 1998, or if you are the copyright owner of the original work and you would just rather it not be posted, we will happily and promptly comply with any reasonable request to remove the infringing work.  Contact us.
